Helpful tips
The boat ride is a unique experience. But remember that we must treat the sea with respect. We always follow basic safety rules.
Before you start
Get informed about the weather conditions. Consult our staff about the best places to visit depending on the weather conditions.
Check lifesaving and firefighting equipment. Wear life jackets for children and passengers who do not know how to swim.
Getting Started
Make sure you have the “quick stop” safety lanyard on your hand.
Make sure all occupants are seated.
Make sure the lever is in the vertical position, i.e. dead. Only then can the engine start.
During sailings
Do not go more than 2 nautical miles from shore. (applies to boats available without a license)
Never pass the bow of a moving vessel.
Keep a safe distance from shores and bathers.
If you need to approach a shore, reduce your speed to a minimum and trim up if the water is shallow.
Do not use the anchor in deep water except when you can see the bottom. The rope you will leave is about three times the depth.
Before anyone dives into the water, the skipper must make sure the anchor is “set” and the engine is off.
